SOUTH COAST BALTIC

Since 2016, the City of Darłowo is a partner of the “SOUTH COAST BALTIC” project.

SOUTH COAST BALTIC is a cross-border initiative that promotes and further develops boating tourism at the southern shores of the Baltic Sea, from the Island of Rügen in Germany along the Polish and Russian coast to the Curonian Lagoon in Lithuania. Port cities from Denmark, Poland, Germany and Lithuania as well as marina & tourism associations from 5 countries have teamed up under its umbrella to make the area even better known and even more attractive for sailors & motor boaters.

The activities of the initiative include, inter alia, joint presentations at boating fairs, the publication of the “Harbour Guide for South Coast Baltic” and further information materials, thematic industry events, a series of training courses & workshops as well as joint study trips to model marinas. Besides the joint marketing activities, its partners seeks also to further improve the infrastructure and services in the marinas along the SOUTH COAST BALTIC in order to offer guests even more security and comfort on the basis of new and modern facilities.
